Some of the best movies are adapted from some amazing books. But it's not only thick tomes of literature that get the Hollywood treatment. Many movies are adapted from graphic novels, whose visual nature lend themselves to fantastic cinematography on the big screen. Here are some of Tacoma Library's favorite graphic novels and movie adaptations. We decided not to include superhero adaptations because that is a list on it's own. Just remember, the Librarian Golden Rule is to always read the book before seeing the movie!
